Кандидат у Президенти Андрій Садовий запропонував Юлії Тимошенко зняти свою кандидатуру з президентських виборів на його користь.
 
 

Про це він написав у Facebook, коментуючи з’їзд ВО “Батьківщина”, на якому Тимошенко висунули кандидатом у Президенти, пише Укрінформ

“На з'їзді Юлія Тимошенко оголосила, що настає кінець всім негараздам України. Бідність, корупція і поразки позаду. Попереду - відродження і розвиток. Цитата: “Ми не маємо права знову, ще раз, втратити наступне 5-річчя, привівши до влади тих, хто непомірно любить гроші, але не любить Україну”. Я абсолютно підтримую лідерку "Батьківщини" в цій ідеї. Для підтвердження щирості своїх слів пані Тимошенко залишилось зробити небагато: зняти свою кандидатуру на користь Андрія Садового, до чого я її і закликаю”, - написав Садовий.

Як повідомляв Укрінформ, 22 січня Всеукраїнське об'єднання «Батьківщина» висунуло свого лідера Тимошенко кандидатом на посаду Президента України під час чергових виборів 31 березня 2019 року.

Партія "Об'єднання "Самопоміч" 3 січня висунула лідера цієї політсили Андрія Садового кандидатом у Президенти.

В Україні 31 грудня розпочався виборчий процес чергових виборів Президента України, призначених на 31 березня 2019 року.

Висування кандидатів політичними партіями або шляхом самовисування на пост глави держави та подання кандидатами документів до ЦВК триватиме до 3 лютого 2019 року. Перед поданням до Центрвиборчкому документів кандидат або партія, яка його висунула, має внести грошову заставу у розмірі 2,5 млн гривень. Реєстрація кандидатів у президенти триватиме до 8 лютого включно.
