Румунська Національна рада з телебачення і радіомовлення відмовила у видачі ліцензії на мовлення на території країни російському державному телеканалу РТР.
За таке рішення проголосували усі дев'ять присутніх на засіданні членів Ради.
«Існує небезпека того, що цей телеканал подаватиме неправдиву інформацію про Європейський Союз і США. Йдеться, передусім, про проросійські пропагандистські матеріали, про так званих fake news», — відзначив член Національної ради з телебачення і радіо Румунії Валентин Жукан.
Його колега з Національної ради Дорина Руссу нагадала присутнім, що аналогічний телеканал, який здійснює мовлення на території Республіки Молдова, неодноразово був оштрафований за необ'єктивне висвітлення подій, у тому числі подій, що відбуваються в Україні, а також за проведення російської і антиєвропейської пропаганди.
Як повідомляє «Укрінформ», керівництво російського державного телеканалу має намір оскаржити рішення Ради.
Нагадаємо, нещодавно Литовська комісія з радіо і телебачення (ЛКРТВ)
визнала, що висловлювання російського парламентаря Володимира Жириновського в програмі «Вечір з Володимиром Соловйовим» на каналі «РТР Планета» і в програмі «Право знати» на каналі «ТВЦi» розпалювали ненависть. Через попередні порушення комісія вже двічі забороняла трансляцію каналу «РТР Планета». У жовтні Литва на півроку
зупинила мовлення й російського каналу ТВЦi.
