Роскомнадзор поддержал идею блокировки анонимайзеров в России. «Мы благодарим депутата Госдумы Леонида Левина за то, что он поднял такую важную тему. Этот вопрос технически сложный, но решаемый. Если будет соответствующая нормативная база, то мы найдем техническое решение», — сказал пресс-секретарь ведомства Вадим Ампелонский,сообщает  Meduza 

Источник РБК, близкий к руководству Госдумы, утверждает, что вопрос о досудебной блокировке анонимайзеров прорабатывается. Однако пояснил, что речь не идет о внесении законопроекта – обсуждается то, как должно реагировать государство на подобные лазейки для пользователей.

5 февраля глава комитета Госдумы по информполитике Леонид Левин предложил без суда блокировать анонимайзеры и «средства доступа в анонимные сети типа Tor». Свою мысль депутат не развил, поэтому, что именно он хотел бы заблокировать, неизвестно. Анонимайзером можно считать и сервисы, предоставляющие VPN, и прокси-сервера, и анонимные браузеры (например, Tor Browser).
Использование разного рода анонимайзеров позволяет пользователям заходить на запрещенные в России страницы, а также пользоваться сервисами, доступ к которым в России не открыт, например, Spotify или Netflix.
В России Tor используют около 150 тысяч человек. По данным GlobalWebIndex, которые приводит РБК, VPN в России используют 25 процентов пользователей.
 
Анонимайзер — изначально средство для скрытия информации о компьютере или пользователе в сети от удалённого сервера.
