Російські ЗМІ перекрутили слова президента Туреччини, мовляв, у листі до Володимира Путіна він попросив вибачення за збитий бомбардувальник Су-24.

Ця інформація швидко поширилася у Мережі з посиланням на офіційний сайт президента Російської Федерації.

"Глава турецької держави в посланні висловив своє співчуття і глибокий жаль родині загиблого російського пілота, і сказав "Вибачте", - раніше заявив Дмитро Пєсков.

Проте, після оприлюднення повного змісту листа, стало відомо, що Реджеп Ердоган просив пробачення не у Володимира Путіна, а у сім'ї загиблого пілота.

"Я хочу ще раз висловити своє співчуття і глибокий жаль родині загиблого російського пілота і кажу: вибачте. Усім серцем поділяю їх біль. Сім'ю російського пілота ми сприймаємо як турецьку родину. В ім'я полегшення болю і тяжкості завданих збитків ми готові до будь-якої ініціативи", - йдеться у листі Ердогана.
