Росія нестиме відповідальність за невиконання узятих зобов’язань та зрив Мінських домовленостей, якщо організує проведення незаконних виборів на підконтрольних сепаратистам територіях на сході України.

Про це у Брюсселі сказав депутат Європарламенту від Литви Петрас Ауштрявічус, повідомляє Укрінформ.

«Я закликаю Росію не робити помилку, підтримуючи сепаратистські вибори на Донбасі. Ми знаємо, хто є відповідальним за це. Ці дії виходять не з Донецька та Луганська – вони керуються з Москви. Якщо Росія порушить свої зобов’язання за Мінськими домовленостями, частиною яких вона є, ми прекрасно усвідомлюємо, що це вона буде відповідальною за їхній зрив», - сказав віце-президент політичної групи Альянсу лібералів і демократів за Європу.

Він також підкреслив, що Євросоюз не має так званого плану «Б», який би міг замінити Мінськ-2. «Є Мінські домовленості, які повинні бути у повному обсязі виконані», - наголосив Ауштревічус.

Як повідомлялося, керівники терористичних організацій «ДНР» і «ЛНР» оголосили про проведення на окупованих територіях у Донецькій та Луганській областях незаконних місцевих виборів. У «ДНР» вони призначені на 18 жовтня, у «ЛНР» на 1 листопада.
