Бренд супов Campbell’s в буквальном смысле "затроллил" женщину, которая обвинила его в гей-пропаганде. Пользовательницу возмутила реклама с однополой парой, о чем она сообщила на странице
Campbell’s Kitchen. «Вы продаете суп, а не секс! Пожалуйста, уберите вашу рекламу», - написала Джесс Хикс.
SMM-команда бренда не растерялась: «Кажется, вы перепутали двух мужчин, кормящих ребенка, с порнофильмом с анальной стимуляцией. Нам сложно принять ваши устаревшие взгляды. Хотите, мы пришлем вам наш классический томатный суп? Он и правда суп-ер!», - ответили представители Campbell’s. Позиция Хикс не нашла поддержки и у других пользователей.
В рекламе, о которой идет речь, двое мужчина действительно кормят мальчика со словами «Я твой отец!» с интонацией Дарта Вейдера, который аналогичным образом признался Люку Скайуокеру в своем отцовстве.
Ролик был выпущен в октябре в поддержку линейки «Звездные войны», созданной специально к выходу новой части космосаги. В описании говорится «Лучшие отцы во всей Галактике».
Возмущенная рекламой женщина пообещала на нее пожаловаться в надзорные органы, однако о конкретных действиях с ее стороны ничего неизвестно.
