Явка на референдум про відставку мера Кишинева Доріна Кіртоаке після закриття виборчих дільниць склала 17,5% (110 тис. виборців).

Про це повідомляє Укрінформ з посиланням на ЦВК Молдови.

За молдавським законодавством, для визнання референдуму таким, що відбувся, явка повинна становити не менше 33%.

За відставку Кіртоаке мали проголосувати не менше 163 тисяч кишинівців.

За результатами обробки 97% протоколів, 88% учасників референдуму підтримали відставку мера, проти – 12%.

Як відомо, Кіртоаке проходить обвинуваченим у справі про платні парковки. Його звинувачують в отриманні вигоди з впливу і пасивній корупції.

Мера Кишинева затримали 25 травня і на наступний день помістили під домашній арешт. 21 липня справу було передано до суду, а прокурори вимагали від муніципальної ради відсторонити Кіртоаке від посади на час судового розгляду.

28 липня його відсторонили від посади мера. 10 листопада Кіртоаке перевели з-під домашнього арешту під судовий контроль.
