Оппозиционный российский политолог Александр Шмелев полагает, что Владимир Путин пойдет на любые жертвы, чтобы остаться у власти

Об этом он сказал в интервью "ДС".

"Даже если им будет надо сбросить атомную бомбу на Москву или на Питер, уничтожить всех, чтобы остаться на своем месте - безусловно, они ее сбросят. Нету у них совершенно никаких моральных ограничений", - сказал политолог.

По его словам, для Украины все должно было бы стать понятно еще тогда, когда в России приняли т.н. антисиротский закон.

Он отметил, что американцы приняли персональные санкции против восьми полицейских и судьей, виновных в убийстве юриста Сергея Магнитского, в ответ на что Кремль демонстративно искалечил жизнь нескольким десяткам тысяч больных сирот.

"Смотрите, мол, мы отмороженные, нам никого не жалко, мы готовы на всё. Думаете, судьба украинцев могла пробудить у этих людей какие-либо сантименты? Конечно, нет", - сказал он.

По его словам, никаких моральных сдерживающих факторов у Путина и его окружения, нет.

"Надо из сиюминутных тактических соображений хапнуть Крым? Хапаем. Надо начать войну? Не проблема! Надо взорвать дома с мирно спящими в них обывателями ради повышения своего рейтинга? Почему бы и нет! И так далее", - сказал Шмелев.
