Верховна Рада не змогла визначитися щодо питання проведення позачергових виборів Криворізького міського голови 27 березня 2016 року.

Кількаразове сигнальне голосування за законопроект №3613 засвідчило відсутність достатньої кількості голосів.

В сесійній залі парламенту виникла дискусія, повідомляє Українська правда

В Опозиційному блоку виступили категорично проти такої ініціативи, наполягаючи, що Конституція не дозволяє парламенту звільняти мерів.

Водночас у "Самопомочі" наголосили, що даним документом, ніхто не виступає проти зняття чинного мера, лише - за призначення позачергових виборів у зв'язку з неможливістю встановити результати волевиявлення.

Також Верховна Рада відмовилася взяти до відома звіт тимчасової спеціальної комісії з питань перевірки фактів порушень під час проведення повторного голосування на виборах мера Кривого Рогу.

Зважаючи на відсутність консенсусу, спікер ВР Володимир Гройсман закликав фракції продовжити консультації і закрив вечірнє засідання парламенту.
