Новый президент Латвии Раймонд Вейонис, принимая обязанности, принес присягу на внеочередном заседании Сейма.

 

Об этом сообщает Delfi.lv, передает УНИАН.

"Я клянусь, что вся моя работа будет посвящена благу латвийского народа. Я сделаю все, что в моих силах, чтобы способствовать благосостоянию Латвийского государства и его жителей. Я буду свято соблюдать Конституцию и законы государства, ко всем относиться справедливо и выполнять свои обязанности по совести", - сказал Вейонис.

Ранее он заявил, что его приоритетами на президентском посту будут национальное единство и самосознание, патриотизм и социальная справедливость.
