Президент Володимир Путін сумнівається, що в США відбуваються демократичні вибори.
 

Про це він сказав під час засідання Петербурзького економічного форуму у п'ятницю, пише Українська правда

"Ми ніколи не втручаємося у внутрішньополітичні процеси інших країн, тим більше Сполучених штатів. Ми будемо працювати з будь-яким президентом, якого обере американський народ", - сказав він.

"Хоча я не думаю, до речі, от вони всіх вчать як треба жити, і демократії вчать. А що ви вважаєте, що там (в США –ред.) демократичні вибори президента?", - заявив Путін.

Зала підтримала його слова оплесками.

"Це правда. Подивіться, двічі в історії США обирали президентом людину більшістю голосів виборників. А за цими виборниками стояла менша кількість виборців", - сказав він.

Як відомо, президентські вибори в США відбудуться 8 листопада цього року.
