Журналісти та акціонери Прямого та 5 каналів підтримали указ президента Україні, який ввів у дію рішення РНБОУ «Щодо реалізації єдиної інформаційної політики в умовах воєнного стану». Про це йдеться в їхній спільній заяві, опублікованій на сайті 5 каналу.
«Від початку повномасштабного російського вторгнення [колективи каналів] дотримуються принципу one voice policy, коли всі українські журналісти говорять про війну одним голосом. Голосом з позиції національних інтересів України, – зазначається у заявіі. – Наші журналісти працюють в гарячих точках. Ведучі часто-густо виходять в ефір з бомбосховища. Не існує жодних підстав обмежувати самостійне мовлення наших каналів – каналів з твердою проукраїнською позицією, яка ні в кого не викликає ані найменших сумнівів. І які ніколи не мали жодних нарікань з боку військових. Ми здатні й надалі забезпечувати повноцінне цілодобове мовлення і ефективно битися в інформаційній війні, захищаючи Україну, разом з колегами-журналістами з інших каналів».
