Народний депутат від фракції "Блок Петра Порошенка" Сергій Каплін очолив "Партію простих людей".

"Так, я формую команду, аби перемогти на місцевих виборах по усій країні, а згодом на парламентських!!! Так, я переконаний - вони будуть позачерговими. Наголошую - перемогти, а не подолати прохідний бар'єр!", - написав нардеп на власній сторінці у Фейсбук.

На сайті Мін'юсту говориться, що політична партія "Простих людей" зареєстрована 27 січня 2015 в Києві. Її головою значиться Фаріло Петро Васильович. На сайті Верховної Ради вказано, що Фаріло - помічник Капліна на громадських засадах
