Прокурор Испании Жозе Мануэль Маса объявил о возбуждении уголовных дел в отношении политиков, ответственных за провозглашение независимости Каталонии.

Бывший глава региональной администрации Каталонии Карлес Пучдемон и другие члены распущенных региональных администрации и парламента Каталонии обвиняются в мятеже, подстрекательстве к мятежу, восстании против государственной власти и злоупотреблении бюджетными средствами, сообщает DW.

За подготовку мятежа испанское законодательство предусматривает максимальное наказание в виде лишения свободы сроком на 30 лет.

Напомним, премьер-министр Испании Мариано Рахой заявил, что Кабинет министров Испании принял решение распустить парламент и правительство Каталонии после того, как 27 октября парламент Каталонии объявил о независимости региона.

Действия Барселоны не поддержали Евросоюз и США. Также позицию Каталонии отвергли Германия и Франция. 

Глава МИД Украины Павел Климкин заявил, что Украина поддерживает территориальную целостность Испании в рамках международно признанных границ.

Прокуратура Испании заявила о планах выдвинуть обвинения лидеру Каталонии Карлесу Пучдемону за неповиновение. Также Мадрид уже назначил главу региона.

1 октября в Каталонии состоялся референдум, несмотря на протест со стороны правительства Испании. Как заявили власти Каталонии, за независимость от Испании проголосовали 90% избирателей.
