Впервые в проекте Google Art Project появились работы из Украины от участников международного фестиваля уличного искусства Республика.

Об этом НВ сообщили в украинском представительстве поисковика.

Уличное искусство Google добавил в свой арт-проект в июне прошлого года. Сейчас в стрит-арт разделе участвуют 86 организаций из 34 стран, которые представили около 10 000 изображений с высоким разрешением.Google Art Project - крупнейшая интернет-платформа для доступа к изображениям произведений искусства с высоким разрешением. Проект был запущен компанией 1 февраля 2011 года при изначальном международном сотрудничестве с 17 музеями.

На сайтах Google Art в 2012 году было уже более 35 000 произведений искусства. Наряду с экспонатами художественных музеев, на сайте выложены панорамные съемки из залов музеев.
