Прем'єр-міністр Ісландії Сігмюндюр Гюннлейгссон може піти у відставку через причетність до таємної офшорної компанії

Про це повідомляє Reuters, передає Еспресо.

Журналісти-розслідувальники з'ясували, що Гюннлейгссон був власником офшорної компанії Wintris на Британських Віргінських островах, яку разом з дружиною купив в 2007 році.

Офшорна компанія мала мільйони доларів облігацій в ісландських банках.

Компанія використовувалася для того, щоб зберігати інвестиції на мільйони доларів багатих партнерів подружжя.

Прем'єр-міністр Гюннлейгссон у відповідь на запитання журналістів щодо офшорної компанії відмовився продовжувати інтерв'ю.

Політичні опоненти прем'єр-міністра звинувачують його у приховуванні важливого конфлікту фінансових інтересів від виборців та вимагають оголошення дострокових виборів.
