15 травня прем'єр-міністр Люксембургу Ксав'є Беттель уклав одностатевий шлюб зі своїм партнером Готьє Дестеном. На церемонію, яка проходила в мерії столиці, прийшло близько 250 гостей, передає Luxemburger Wort.

Серед гостей був помічений і прем'єр-міністр Бельгії Шарль Мішель. Також на весіллі були заступник прем'єра Етьєн Шнайдер, міністр юстиції Фелікс Браз і міністр інфраструктури Франсуа Бауш.

Вперше про свою орієнтацію Беттель заявив в 2008 році. У 2010 році почалися їхні стосунки з Дестеном.
