Президент Петро Порошенко вже підписав ухвалений у четвер парламентом закон, який дозволить призначити генпрокурором людину без юридичної освіти.

Це "Українській правді" підтвердили в Адміністрації президента.

"Після того, як закон надійшов з Верховної Ради до АП, він був підписаний президентом", – сказав прес-секретар глави держави Святослав Цеголко.

Як відомо, в четвер Верховна Рада ухвалила зміни, які дозволять кандидату на посаду генерального прокурора не мати юридичної освіти, а також унормовують реформу Генпрокуратури.

Згідно з новим законом, кандидат на посаду глави ГПУ повинен мати вищу освіту й стаж роботи в галузі права або досвід роботи у законодавчому та/або правоохоронному органі не менше 5 років.

Депутати БПП на умовах анонімності повідомили "Українській правді", що подання про призначення Луценка на посаду генпрокурора винесуть на голосування парламенту вже в четвер.

Водночас у самому документі сказано, що "цей закон набирає чинності з дня його опублікування".
