С приближением выборов в Бундестаг ФРГ все больше политических аналитиков склоняются к той мысли, что у партии Меркель (ХДС) появился серьезный конкурент в борьбе за кресло канцлера ФРГ в лице Мартина Шульца, кандидата от Социал-демократической партии Германии, говорили, что он может стать конкурентом Ангелы Меркель. Тем не менее, сегодня понятно, что рейтинг социал-демократов медленно, но падает, зато партия Меркель получает поддержку. Почему так происходит в эфире «Громадського радио» рассказал специалист по международным отношениям Виктор Савинок.

По его словам, все мы помним «эффект Шульца», то есть именно благодаря личности Мартина Шульца наблюдался рост рейтингов социал-демократов, начиная с января 2017 года, когда Мартин Шульц стал председателем Социал-демократической партии Германии. Съезд партии ста процентами голосов доверил ему эту должность. Он не только ведет партию на выборы, он вообще руководит этой политической силой. Партия социал-демократов, в которой рейтинг на середину января был 23 - 24%, очень резко начала расти в симпатиях. К середине февраля ее рейтинг вырос почти на 10%. Рейтинг партии Меркель стремительно падал.

По словам эксперта, Шульц называет себя политиком улицы. Шульцу на самом деле очень сложно отказать в харизматичности. Он за своим имиджем не слишком вяжется с немецким истеблишментом.
