Пивоварня в американском штате Огайо представила специально выпущенное пиво в честь Бенедикта XVI - предшественника действующего папы Франциска. Об этом сообщает «Католический обозреватель», пишет Sostav.ua

 

Хмельной напиток, сваренный в баварском стиле, носит название Beer-nedict XVI: Pint-ifex Maximus. Он был представлен на конференциях в США. (Огайо, США). 

Производителем пива пивоварня Пивоваренная компания Hightower. 

Профессор Стивен Булливант, директор Центра Бенедикта XVI, отметил, что бывший папа любил хорошее пиво, поэтому «нам показалось уместным и интересным образом в Центре 90-ю годовщину Бенедикта» таким образом. 

 
Как сообщает Catholic Herald, в апреле Папу-эмерита сфотографировали во время празднования своего 90-летия с бокалом пива.
