Зніманнями займається компанія режисера Саїд Медведєвої - "Майстерня", а говорити з главою держави буде одіозний телеведучий Володимир Соловйов, який веде пропагандистські передачі.
Знімальна група знімає президента РФ в роботі, в тому числі в поїздках. У фільмі буде багато прямої мови Путіна. Знімання триватимуть ще довго, скільки саме, співрозмовники не можуть відповісти. При цьому вони визнають, що кіно має вийти не зараз, воно готується до виборів президента (відбудуться у березні 2018 року). Фільм покаже один з федеральних каналів, найімовірніше, "Россия".
Медведєва і Соловйов раніше вже робили стрічку про Путіна — під назвою "Президент". Вона вийшла 2015 рока і була присвячена 15-річчю перебування Володимира Путіна у владі. "Разом зі своїм лідером піднімалася і Росія. Який шлях пройшла наша країна за останні 15 років?" — йшлося в анотації до того фільму.
