Пресс-секретарь президента РФ Дмитрий Песков заявил, что фильм британских журналистов телеканала ВВС Тайные богатства Путина, который был показан 25 января, является клеветой.

По словам Пескова, материал британского телеканала "не имеет под собой никаких оснований", сообщает Интефакс-Украина, передает Новое время

"В целом мы привыкли к таким журналистским "уткам", которые связаны или с некомпетентностью, или с погоней за желтизной, или которые являются срежиссированной кампанией… В случае с фильмом ВВС все выглядело как очередной пример безответственной журналистики классической, если бы не официальный комментарий, который есть в этом фильме. Я имею в виду комментарий представителя министерства финансов США", - сказал Песков.

Представитель Кремля также отверг наличие у Путина яхты, о которой говорилось в фильме.

"Мне приписывают очень глубокие познания в яхтах. Это не так. Я знаю, что у президента яхты нет. Это я знаю", - добавил Песков.

Напомним, на телеканале BBC One вышел документальный фильм Ричарда Билтона Тайные богатства Путина. В нем президента России обвиняют в использовании власти для накопления тайного богатства.

Бывшие инсайдеры Кремля  рассказали Билтону, что знают, как Путин "прячет свои богатства".
