За менш ніж два тижні до проведення виборів до Бундестагу керівна німецька партіяХристиянсько-демократичний союз (ХДС) погіршила показники підтримки серед населення. Про це свідчать оприлюднені в п'ятницю, 15 вересня, дані соціологічного опитування Politbarometer, проведеного німецьким телеканалом ZDF.

Згідно з результатами дослідження громадської думки, партію ХДС, до якої належить і канцлерка Анґела Меркель, підтримують 36 відсотків респондентів, що на два відсоткових пункти менше, ніж під час попередніх опитувань. Тим часом найближчий конкурент - Соціал-демократична партія Німеччини (СДПН) отримала 23 відсотки підтримки, що на один відсотковий пункт більше в порівнянні з попередніми опитуваннями.

Третє місце ділять з 10 відсотками популярності Вільна демократична партія (ВДП) та праві популісти з "Альтернативи для Німеччини" (АдН). Ліва партія та Зелені підтримують відповідно 9 та 8 відсотків опитаних громадян. Опитування населення також демонструють, що за результатами виборів майбутньою правлячою коаліцією може знову виявитися коаліція консерваторів ХДС з СДНП. Так само не виключено, що нову урядову коаліцію ХДС формуватиме з ВДП та Зеленими.
