Бразильский футболист Пеле подал к компании Samsung иск на 30 млн долларов, утверждая, что она использовала в своей рекламе его двойника.

В иске футболист утверждает, что компания использовала в рекламе своих телевизоров фотографию человека, очень похожего на Пеле, который при этом выполняет его фирменный удар по летящему мячу.

Имя Пеле в рекламе не упоминается, но, как утверждают представители футболиста, использованный в рекламе человек настолько сильно на него похож, что тем самым вводит потенциальных покупателей в заблуждение.

В исковом заявлении также отмечается, что несколько лет назад Samsung вел с футболистом переговоры об использовании его образа, но потом внезапно прекратил их, так и не получив от Пеле никаких разрешений.

Иск подан в США, в федеральный суд Чикаго. Сама компания юридические претензии в свой адрес пока не прокомментировала.

Пеле известен как "король футбола". Многие считают его лучшим футболистом в истории. За время выступления за сборную Бразилии он выиграл три кубка мира, забив 77 голов в одних только официальных матчах.
