Палата громад британського парламенту прийняла в третьому, остаточному читанні акт, який схвалює приведення в дію статті 50 Лісабонського договору про порядок виходу країни з Євросоюзу.

Про це повідомляє ВВС.

Законопроект уряду про вихід з ЄС підтримали 494 депутата, проти виступили 122.

В ході дебатів перед фінальним голосуванням депутати обговорювали кілька поправок, серед яких - дозвіл громадянам Євросоюзу залишатися на території Сполученого Королівства після завершення процесу Brexit. В результаті жодна з поправок не була прийнята.

Акт про Brexit повинен ще пройти обговорення в палаті лордів, але, як очікується, з цим не повинно виникнути проблем. Очікується, що він буде остаточно схвалений обома палатами британського парламенту до саміту ЄС, наміченого на початок березня.

Після цього прем'єр-міністр Великобританії Тереза Мей отримає право офіційно почати процес виходу країни з Євросоюзу.
