Інвестор Facebook та Twitter - фонд DST Global - мав фінансові зв'язки з двома державними компаніями.

Про це йдеться у так званих "Paradise Papers" ("Документи з райських островів"), які у неділю опублікував Міжнародний консорціум журналістських розслідувань, передає Укрінформ.

"ВТБ Банк, який належить Кремлю, непомітно перерахував $191 млн у інвестиційний фонд DST Global, який використовував ці гроші для придбання великої частки в Twitter у 2011 році", - йдеться у документах.

"Підконтрольна Кремлю компанія - енергетичний гігант "Газпром" - профінансував офшорну компанію, яка співпрацювала з DST Global по великим інвестиціям у Facebook", - повідомили журналісти.

Як відомо, раніше американський телеканал MSNBC заявив, що Росія блокувала українців у Facebook.
