Бренд North Face решил в очередной раз обыграть намерение Дональда Трампа построить стену на границе с Мексикой, и запустил кампанию «Стены придуманы для того, чтобы по ним взбираться» (Walls are meant for climbing). О проекте рассказывает Creativity Online.

Компания, специализирующаяся на производстве спортивной, в частности, горной одежды и туристического инвентаря, пожертвовала некоммерческой организации The Trust for Public Land $1 млн для того, чтобы в американских городах появились стены для лазания. Помимо этого, наружная реклама со слоганом кампании установлена на зданиях в Нью-Йорке и Лондоне.

North Face также организовала фестиваль «Всемирный день лазания». который прошел 19 августа при поддержке спортзалов. Другие мероприятия, посвященные лазанию, в которых, в том числе, должны принять участие атлеты, пройдут в Нью-Йорке, Шанхае и Лондоне.

North Face – не единственный бренд, который обыграл предвыборное обещание нынешнего президента США Дональда Трампа возвести стену на границе с Мексикой. В частности, бренд Diesel запускал кампанию «Строй любовь, а не стены» (Make Love Not Walls).
