Непроведення виборів на Донбасі - це консервація режиму Януковича та подарунок Путіну. Про це у програмі "Свободі слова" каналу ICTV заявив лідер ВГО «Народна довіра», волонтер Сергій Шахов.

За його словами "громадяни України з Донецької і Луганської областей мають такі самі права, як ті, хто живе у Львові, Одесі чи Києві". "Відмовитись від виборів на Сході - все одно що подаравути Донбас Путіну, законсервувавши режим Януковича в обличчі регіоналів і комуністів", - пояснив Сергій Шахов. Адже непроведення виборів означає, що органи місцевої влади залишаться ті ж само політики.

Окрім цього громадський активіст повідомив, що мешканці окупованих територій також висловлюються за проведення виборів за українським законом. "Я сам родом з Луганщині, народився у Стаханові і мені повідомляють, що більшість людей хочуть переобрати діючу владу на місцях і ми готові їм допомогти у цьому", - заявив Сергій Шахов
