Крупное немецкое ежедневное издание Bild не включает результаты России в общий медальный зачет Олимпиады-2016 в соответствии бойкотом, который был объявлен ранее.

Газета пишет, что вычеркивает РФ из медального зачета Олимпийских игр из-за государственной программы допинга.Издание заявляет, что в России применение допинга проходит под контролем правительства и спецслужб, на что необходимо дать весомый ответ.

Решение Bild о бойкотировании РФ на Олимпиаде вызвало волну возмущения у сторонников политики российского президента Владимира Путина, которые оставили соответствующие комментарии на сайте "РИА Новости".

Она бабки отрабатывает, что получила за пропаганду против нашей страны, В нынешнем информационном поле, такое решение просто смешно )))", "Смотрели мы на них с высокой колокольни", "Засудить и обонкротить, чтоб другим не повадно было!", "Фашистские недобитки развлекаются)", "Не пускать журналистов Бильд в Россию", "Предлагаю про эту газетку тоже ни где не упоминать, от слова совсем.
