Центр передового досвіду НАТО з питань стратегічних комунікацій повідомляє, що 60% російськомовних користувачів Twitter є ботами.

Про це йдеться у доповіді Центру (NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence), базованого у Ризі, Латвія, передає The Voice of America.

"Російськомовні боти створюють приблизно 70% усіх російських повідомлень про НАТО у країнах Балтії та Польщі. Загалом 60% активних російськомовних облікових записів мають вигляд автоматизованих. Для порівняння 39% англомовних облікових записів є ботами", - відзначає доповідь.

Дослідження відзначає, що його висновки базуються на аналізі добірки даних Twitter, які стосувались військової активної у країнах Балтії та Польщі.

"Ця добірка не є репрезентативною щодо Twitter загалом. Висновки можуть бути іншими у випадку інших медіа платформ", - зауважує доповідь.

"Політичні сили активно використовують боти у соцмережах для маніпуляцій громадською думкою з питань регіональної геополітики. За нашими оцінками, на такі облікові записи припадає від 5 до 15 відсотків усієї активності щодо присутності НАТО у Латвії та Естонії з березня по липень 2017 року. Згенеровані ботами повідомлення мають відмінності залежно від того, на яку аудиторію вони націлені. Повідомлення, націлені на західного споживача, наголошують, що масштаби російських навчань менші за операції НАТО. Повідомлення націлені на внутрішню аудиторію, рідко згадують російські навчання", - відзначає документ.
