Центральная избирательная комиссия (ЦИК) Узбекистана приняла постановление о создании за рубежом 44 избирательных участков для выборов президента страны. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба ЦИК.

"Основная часть участков за границей будет действовать в местах значительного проживания граждан Узбекистана за пределами республики. В частности, в России, Казахстане", — цитирует сообщение  РИА "Новости".

Избирательные участки создаются при представительствах Узбекистана в зарубежных государствах по представлению МИД республики. Очередные президентские выборы пройдут в республике 29 марта. Глава государства будет избран на пятилетний срок. Выдвижение кандидатов в президенты, согласно закону о выборах главы государства, начинается за 65 дней до дня голосования и длится 20 дней.
