Під час парламентських виборів, які мають відбутися у Нідерландах 15 березня голоси виборців рахуватимуться вручну через побоювання, пов’язані з можливими хакерськими атаками, які можуть вплинути на результати виборів.

Про це повідомляє NRC.

Про відповідне рішення оголосив міністр внутрішніх справ країни Роналд Пластерк. Відомо, що підрахунок голосів виборців на дільницях відбуватиметься вручну. Потім бюлетені будуть доставлятися в комісії вищого рівня, де вже передбачене застосування спеціального програмного  забезпечення.

Видання відзначає, що на цьому тижні журналісти RTL провели експеримент, який показав, що програмне забезпечення для підрахунку голосів є надзвичайно вразливим і цією системою легко маніпулювати.

Загрозою також є те, що, як виявилося, дуже легко заламати сайти провідних політичних партій Нідерландів.

Нагадаємо, 29 грудня 2016 року президент США Барак Обама ввів санкції проти Росії через хакерські атаки та втручання Кремля у вибори президента США.
