Кореспондент CNN Ед Лавандера вів пряме включення з акції протесту проти насильства з боку поліції в місті Шарлотт, Північна Кароліна, коли один з учасників протесту збив його з ніг.

Лавандера описував, що відбувається під час протестів, коли невідомий врізався в нього і повалив його на землю. Про це повідомляє Media Sapiens з посиланням на Huffington post. Репортер швидко встав на ноги і повідомив студії, що з ним все гаразд.

«У нас все добре. Хтось зганяє своє незадоволення на мені», - прокоментував журналіст. Пізніше він повідомив, що людина, яка штовхнула його, підійшла і вибачилася.

Протести у місті Шарлотт тривають вже другу добу - причиною стало вбивство поліцією афроамериканця. 20 вересня 43-річний Кіт Ламонт Скотт був поранений поліцейськими та згодом помер у лікарні. Поліція стверджує, що чоловік був озброєний та відмовлявся виконувати вказівки офіцера. Натомість, родина загиблого повідомила, що Кіт Ламонт Скотт тримав у руках книгу, чекаючи на свого сина в авто.

Нагадаємо, у липні цього року в американському місті Батон-Руж, штат Луїзіана, почалися протести після того, як поліцейські застрелили афроамериканця. Фото репортера Reuters Джонатан Бахмана з Батон-Руж тоді назвали «легендарним».
