Члени Криворізької виборчої комісії проголосували й подали прохання в Національну поліцію про порушення кримінального провадження щодо голови Павла Гівеля.

За відповідне рішення 8 грудня проголосували 11 членів комісії з 14 присутніх, передають "Українські новини".

Також 2 членів комісії проголосували проти, 1 - утримався.

Члени комісії вбачають у діях Гівеля порушення статті 157 Кримінального кодексу (перешкоджання здійсненню виборчого права).

Своє рішення вони аргументували відсутністю Гівеля на деяких засіданнях, у тому числі на засіданні 8 грудня.

Як відомо, після місцевих виборів і оголошення переможцем на них Юрія Вілкула в Кривому Розі почалися мітинги з вимогою переглянути підсумки волевиявлення.

7 грудня Криворізька міська виборча комісія звернулася до Верховної Ради з проханням призначити вибори міського голови у зв’язку з чисельними порушеннями при голосуванні і навмисним зривом перерахунку голосів.
