На Черкащині Служба безпеки України спільно з міліцією затримала місцевого мешканця, який вісім місяців переховувався від слідства за підкуп виборців, повідомляє прес-служба.

Під час проведення минулорічних позачергових виборів до Верховної Ради України керівник одного з виборчих штабів організував «піраміду» підкупу виборців, які за 300 гривень мали б проголосувати за одного із кандидатів у народні депутати.

Досудове розслідування у кримінальному провадженні за ч. 4 ст. 160 (підкуп виборця) Кримінального кодексу України триває.

СБУ нагадує, що за фальсифікацію виборчих документів, підсумків голосування, підкуп виборця, перешкоджання роботі виборчої комісії, голосування виборцем на виборчій дільниці більше ніж один раз та інші злочини проти виборчих та особистих прав і свобод людини і громадянина передбачена кримінальна відповідальність.
