Студия Probendi (ирландский разработчик ПО) подала в суд на Apple за использование торговой марки iWatch, принадлежащей ирландцам.
По этому запросу в поисковике Google выпадает рекламная ссылка на сайт Apple Watch. Американцы купили рекламу по этому запросу, чтобы, ошибаясь с названием, покупатели все равно попадали на сайт их «умных часов», сообщает tech.onliner.by
Ирландцы же недовольны, что их торговая марка используется для рекламы Apple Watch. Права на нее в Европе они получили еще в 2008 году для своего программного обеспечения по здоровью и безопасности. Однако сайт Probendi не внушает доверия, как и отсутствие каких-либо веских доказательств существования приложения iWatch от этой студии. Вероятно, Даниель ди Сальво, директор Probendi, является обычным патентным «троллем», который пытается заработать на торговой марке iWatch.
Тем временем аналитики с Уолл-Стрит подвели промежуточный итог работы Apple в третьем квартале финансового года. По их данным, компании удалось продать 49,4 млн iPhone — на 40% больше, чем год назад за эти же три месяца.
