Главі дипломатії Євросоюзу Федериці Могеріні доручать підготувати план інформаційної кампанії в рамках протидії російським ЗМІ при висвітленні конфлікту в Україні.

Про це йдеться в проекті доручення, підготовленій для саміту ЄС, повідомляє УНІАН

"Європейська рада пропонує Високому представнику (Могеріні)... підготувати до червня план дій щодо стратегічної комунікації в підтримку свободи ЗМІ та європейських цінностей", - цитує агентство чернетку документа.

Передбачається, що документ буде прийнято на саміті ЄС 19-20 березня, наступна зустріч європейських лідерів відбудеться у червні - саме до цього терміну Могеріні пропонується підготувати свою програму.

Раніше Могеріні заявляла, що Євросоюз працює над стратегічною комунікацією, щоб протистояти пропаганді російською мовою" не тільки в регіоні східного партнерства або в Росії, але і в ЄС.

Крім того, міністри закордонних справ Естонії, Литви, Данії та Великобританії у спільному зверненні запропонували, щоб Євросоюз створив європейський телеканал, розрахований на російськомовних жителів спільноти. За створення подібного ТБ також виступила Україна.
