За новим законом місцеві вибори мають бути проведені в жовтні цього року. Волевиявлення буде відбуватися за відкритими списками, міських голів обиратимуть у два тури.

Про це в інтерв'ю "5 каналу" заявив міністр юстиції Павло Петренко.

За словами міністра, запровадження відкритої пропорційної системи на виборах у місцеві ради дасть змогу перебороти найбільш корумповану мажоритарну складову.
