Национально-консервативное правительство Польши провело через парламент еще одну спорную реформу в сфере юстиции. Депутаты от правящей партии "Закон и справедливость" , имеющие в парламенте абсолютное большинство, вечером в четверг, 28 января, проголосовали в поддержку законопроекта, согласно которому все прокуратуры, в том числе на региональном уровне, переходят в непосредственное подчинение к министерству юстиции. В результате министр юстиции получает право вмешиваться в любое расследование, пишет DW.

В поддержку данного законопроекта проголосовали 236 депутатов, 209 были против и еще 8 - воздержались. В результате аннулирована реформа, проведенная в 2009 году предыдущим правительством, которая превратила генеральную прокуратуру в независимое ведомство. Принятию нынешнего законопроекта предшествовали бурные дебаты, в ходе которых оппозиция предупреждала, что новый закон превратит представителей прокуратуры в политических функционеров.

Ранее правящая в Польше партия уже провела целый ряд других спорных реформ и, в частности, приняла новый закон о СМИ, позволяющий правительству принимать кадровые решения по руководящим постам в общественно-правовых теле- и радиокомпаниях. В связи с этим Еврокомиссия запустила официальную процедуру проверки соблюдения в Польше принципов правовой системы.
