Гроші отримають 1000 підписників аккаунта Маедзави. Для цього вони мають ретвітнути його запис від 1 січня. Переможців оберуть випадковим чином.
Як зазначає Reuters, вплив виграних грошей на життя переможців будуть відстежувати за допомогою регулярних опитувань.
Сам Маедзава вважає свою акцію “серйозним соціальним експериментом” і сподівається, що нею зацікавиться наукове співтовариство.
Юсаку Маедзава є засновником інтернет-магазину Zozotown, який займається пошиттям одягу на замовлення. У Маедзави 7 млн підписників у Twitter. Також він відомий тим, що викупив всі квитки на рейс SpaceX до Місяця. У січні минулого року він вже оголошував про розіграш грошей серед підписників. Тоді Маедзава роздав близько $900 тисяч.
