Голова Одеської обласної державної адміністрації Міхеіл Саакашвілі не балотуватиметься від партії «Блоку Петра Порошенка» на місцевих виборах 25 жовтня. Про це у коментарі журналістам заявив народний депутат з фракції «Блок Петра Порошенка» Ігор Кононенко.

«Пан Саакашвілі не буде балотуватися, але запрошений сьогодні на з`їзд партії», – зауважив Кононенко. – “Ми пропонували Саакашвілі очолити список, але він прийняв рішення, що не буде балотуватися», — додав Кононенко.

На запитання журналістів, хто від партії балотуватиметься на посаду мера Одеси, Ігор Кононенко відповів, що дискусії з цього питання ще тривають.
