Министерство иностранных дел прекратило полномочия почетного консула Украины в Турции Левента Айдына. Об этом сообщил в Twitter министр иностранных дел Павел Климкин.

"Левент Айдын помог многим украинским гражданам, но есть вопрос принципа. Я принял решение прекратить его полномочия Почетного консула Украины", - сообщил глава внешнеполитического ведомства.

Напомним, на прошлой неделе Айдын пришел на презентацию футболиста Самюэля Это'О, который подписал контракт с командой "Антальяспор", в футболке с изображением руководителя России Владимира Путина и надписью "Вежливость наше все".

Айдын является гражданином Турции, поэтому никаких иных санкций против него в МИД применить не могут.
