В Іракському Курдистані, згідно з останніми даними, 91,83% виборців проголосували за незалежність цього регіону.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на місцевий канал Rudaw.

Проти незалежності виступили 8,17% виборців.

Повідомляється, що всього на референдумі проголосували 3 440 616 осіб.

Нагадаємо, 25 вересня у курдський автономії Іраку пройшов референдум про підтримку незалежності. Референдум не було визнано ані центральним урядом Іраку, ані іншими країнами.

25 вересня іракський парламент схвалив резолюцію з вимогою ввести війська на спірні райони на півночі країни, що перебувають під контролем курдів з 2003 року.

Напередодні іракський уряд виступив із вимогою до регіонального уряду Курдистану передати контроль над своїми аеропортами.
