До червня 2025 року студія «Анімакорд», творець культового мультсеріалу «Маша і Ведмідь», повністю припинила роботу в Росії, перенісши діяльність на Кіпр. 


Олег Кузовков, автор серіалу, розірвав зв'язки з московським офісом через незгоду з масовим випуском серій без його сценаріїв, що, на його думку, знизило якість проекту. 

Права на франшизу давно належать кіпрській Animaccord LTD, а російський офіс зіткнувся з хвилею звільнень, що торкнулася десятків аніматорів.


Серіал, який набрав мільярди переглядів і став світовим хітом, тепер розвиватиметься як іноземний проект. 

Частина співробітників одержала компенсації, але фрілансери, які працювали над анімаційним серіалом, залишилися без виплат.


Відхід «Анімакорда» з російського ринку це спроба відв'язатися від від російської пропаганди, що характерно для творчої галузі на росії. 

Тому нові серії створюватимуться без участі російської студії.
