Манафорт погодився дати свідчення комітету, який розслідує втручання Росії у вибори

Екс-голова виборчого штабу Дональда Трампа Пол Манафорт погодився дати свідчення комітету розвідки палати представників Конгресу США.

Про це на прес-конференції повідомив Девін Нуньєс, голова комітету, передає Главком з посиланням на NBC News.

«Адвокат Пола Манафорта зв'язався вчора з комітетом і запропонував опитати свого клієнта», – сказав Нуньєс.

За словами Нуньєса, Манафорт погодився дати свідчення комітету, який розслідує втручання Росії у вибори. 

Як відомо, агенти мінфіну США отримали інформацію про офшорні фінансові операції екс-голови штабу Дональда Трампа Пола Манафорта у рамках антикорупційного розслідування щодо його діяльності у Східній Європі.

У середу АР повідомляла, що Пол Манафорт таємно працював на російського мільярдера Олега Дерипаску, просуваючи інтереси Володимира Путіна.

Він пропонував протидіяти антиросійській опозиції у пострадянських країнах. Так, Манафорт уклав контракт із Дерипаскою на $10 мільйонів щорічно, починаючи з 2006 року.
