Недавно стало известно, что компания из Купертино подала на регистрацию патент, который, судя по имеющейся информации, направлен на то, что бы сделать лого на устройствах более функциональным. В частности, компания может встроить в корпус устройств проводящие электричество вставки. Еще одна возможность, которую вполне может использовать Apple, - это встроенные в логотип сенсоры, которые могут использоваться для отслеживания сердечного ритма пользователя или же в качестве сканера отпечатков пальцев. Особенно актуально использование лого в качестве сканера еще и в свете последних слухов о том, что в следующих поколениях iPhone Apple планирует избавиться от кнопки «Домой», которая сейчас и выполняет роль такого сканера.

Процедуру регистрации патента компания начала еще в 2013 году, и пока не ясно, получит ли запатентованная технология применение уже в ближайшем будущем или так и останется на уровне идеи.
