Гражданин Литвы Эвалдас Римашаускас, который с помощью сфальсифицированных электронных писем обманом выманил у американских компаний информационных технологий Facebook и Google более $100 млн, был выдан США.

Об этом сообщила пресс-служба Бюро криминальной полиции Литвы, передает портал Delfi.

Процедура передачи была проведена после вынесения в пятницу Апелляционный суд Литвы (АСЛ) вердикта о том, что гражданин Литвы должен быть выдан США.

Также известно, что суд обвинил Римасаускаса в том, что он путем обмана получил от Facebook $98,88 млн, а у Google - $23,23 млн. Если суд в США признает его вину, мошеннику грозит лишение свободы сроком на более 20 лет.
