На думку глави МЗС Росії Сергія Лаврова, найбільш русофобською державою НАТО є Литва.

Про це він заявив в інтерв’ю шведському виданню Dagens Nyheter, повідомляє Європейська правда

"З боку НАТО було зрозуміло, що Росія не є небезпечною для країн Балтії. Але якщо їх прийняти в НАТО, вони заспокояться. І от вони в альянсі, але спокою немає, особливо у нашого литовського сусіда", - заявив Лавров.

"З певних причин Литва є найбільш агресивною русофобською країною, яка штовхає НАТо на антиросійський курс", - наголосив він.

Стосовно Латвії та Естонії Лавров назвав "вражаючим цинізмом" те, що російськомовному населенню в цих країнах було надано статус негромадян після відновлення незалежності.

Як повідомлялося, Лавров також заявив, що Росія вживатиме військово-технічні заходи у разі, якщо Швеція вирішить вступити в Північноатлантичний альянс.
