Козёл Тимур, прославившийся благодаря дружбе с тигром Амуром, будет баллотироваться самовыдвиженцем от одномандатного избирательного округа в грядущих выборах в Государственную думу РФ. Такое решение принял директор приморского сафари-парка. Дмитрий Мезенцев считает, что козёл составит хорошую компанию российским чиновникам. По мнению директора зверинца, за счёт козла Госдума сможет поднять собственный рейтинг.

— Я, конечно, понимаю, что много толка от Тимура не будет. Но и от депутатов некоторых толка нет. Зато вреда от Тимура будет гораздо меньше. Он не врёт, не ворует, не занимается словоблудием. Голосовать он сможет — это главное для депутата. Хвост кверху значит «за», хвост книзу — «против», параллельно земле — воздержался, — сказал Мезенцев.

— Часть депутатов не несут ответственности за свои решения. Тимур также не отвечает за последствия своих поступков. Он подходит для этой компании.

Напомним, что сегодня администрация сафари-парка объявила конкурс на невесту для козла Тимура. По мнению руководства зверинца, достойная козочка поможет Тимуру восстановить психическое равновесие после трёпки, которую животному задал тигр Амур 26 января.

Стычка между хищником и травоядным едва не стоила копытному жизни. Впрочем, как утверждают очевидцы, козёл сам спровоцировал конфликт.

После нападения работники сафари-парка экстренно убрали травоядное из вольера. Чтобы отвлечь тигра, в его столовую пустили приманку — живого кролика. Уловка сработала, и, пока хищник разбирался с кроликом, раненого Тимура вынесли на одеяле.
