На вимогу спецслужб США компанія Yahoo у 2015 році  створила програму аналізу листів всіх користувачів свого поштового сервісу.

Про це повідомляє Reuters з посиланням на власні джерела.

За словами колишніх співробітників компанії вимога до Yahoo надійшла від ФБР або АНБ у формі секретної директиви.

Наразі невідомо, яку інформацію шукали співробітники розвідки.

"Напевно відомо, що вони хотіли від Yahoo, аби програма відсіювала повідомлення за певними критеріями", - повідомляє агенція.

Reuters також відзначає, що поки точно не вдалося встановити, які дані Yahoo передала спецслужбам.

Агенція відзначає, що робота над програмою проводилася за розпорядженням керівника компанії Марісси Майєр і була настільки засекречена, що службу інформаційної безпеки компанії не повідомили.

Через це керівник служби безпеки Алекс Стамос звільнився на знака протесту і зараз працює у Facebook.

Раніше повідомлялося, що хакери атакували аналітичні центри США, які займаються Росією.
